Technical Security


GEM has a staff of highly trained and certified personnel capable of performing technical security functions. We have extensive experience in the maintenance of Communications Security (COMSEC) systems and accounts, protected distribution systems, TEMPEST measures, and Technical Countermeasures (TSCM) programs.

GEM has prepared Technical Security oversight report results, prioritized inspection and assessment results, made recommendations, and tracked all corrective actions until validated as completed and vulnerabilities have been mitigated.  We assist in providing TSCM services for Special Access Programs, Sensitive Compartmented Intelligence Facilities, Top Secret areas, Sigma 14 and 15, classified conference rooms, classified video teleconferencing areas, and other sensitive areas as deemed necessary.  GEM also assists its customers in the conduct of construction reviews for reducing construction and renovation costs, development of guidance in risk management practices, and development of excellent security education tools.

GEM, in accordance with approved property management policies, practices, and procedures, has developed and maintained a detailed system to identify, control, maintain, and manage all TSCM equipment in the care and custody of it customers.  We use a bar coding system to ensure that all TSCM equipment and electronics is accounted for at all times.
